Our motto is “Together we succeed’
At Whiteshill Primary we have built up a very strong school community as we believe that the success of our pupils depends on developing a real partnership with parents and carers.
Parent Teacher Communication
We believe in open communication between parents and teachers.
If parents are worried about their child in any way the teachers are always there to discuss, share, advise and work together with parents in resolving any issues.
Well organised homework can play a vital role in raising standards of achievement. It is important that the homework pupils are set supports and complements the work they do in school and that the amount of homework pupils receive reflects the stage they are at in their schooling.
Homework information for 2017-2018 can be found on our letters page.
Home School Agreement
‘Together’ we will value all children and act in their best interests at all times.
We ask you and your child to join us in signing a home school agreement. This states our common commitment to provide the best high quality education experience that we can offer for your child. Our school council has worded the pupil section, parents have contributed to their section and the final section is based on policies that underpin our school beliefs. We ask you to support us in signing this very important document.

Parent helpers are invaluable and are always welcome whether it be running an out of school club, helping with forest school, reading or helping with a special event. If you are interested in helping then please enquire at the school office.
