We are curious, unique and together

Extra-curricular

At Whiteshill, we encourage the children to follow their own unique interests.  We try to provide them with a range of extra-curricular after school clubs so that they can spend time together on an activity they already enjoy or try something new that they haven’t experienced before – feeding their curiosity.

During the Autumn term, we offer after school clubs for children in Elm, Maple and Oak classes as the reception children are not quite ready to take part yet.  The teaching staff all run a club which is free of charge.  We also work with specialist PE teachers who run after school clubs and may charge but we absorb these costs wherever possible.

The clubs on offer this term are as follows:

Tag rugby

Skateboarding

Horrible Histories

Scootering

Archery

Coding

Book club

We encourage the children to attend their club each week once they have signed up for the term, giving them a chance to begin to understand the importance of making a commitment to a group.  Children can sign up for as many clubs as they wish across the term.
