Willow Class have been helping out at the local community shop!

On Monday, the children had the opportunity to spend some time helping out in the local community shop. The visit was organized as part of our ‘Anti Bullying Week’ events.

The children helped out with pricing items up and stacking shelves. They also learnt about why certain foods were kept in the fridge.

Willow Class would like to say a huge thank you to the volunteers at the community shop for allowing us to come along and help out for the day!

After returning to school, Willow Class have been spending lots of time practicing their shop keeping skills in the role play area. They have been developing their language related to money and creating their own pricing labels. Such a fantastic learning opportunity from start to finish!
